Massachusetts Divorce Attorney and Trained Mediator Kelly Sidgwick

Overview

Attorney Kelly L. Sidgwick is an experienced litigator and negotiator, representing individuals in all areas of family law, including divorce, complex property division, business valuations, child custody, child support, and alimony, as well as post-divorce matters such as modifications and contempt actions.  She offers case consultations and evaluations.  Attorney Sidgwick is also a trained mediator.

Having practiced family law exclusively throughout her legal career, Attorney Sidgwick recognizes that this area of law is unlike any other in that no two cases are the same because no two individuals or families are the same.  She is committed to understanding each client’s particular needs and goals, which enables her to formulate creative and effective strategies to expertly and efficiently achieve those goals for her clients.

Prior to co-founding Goldman & Sidgwick, LLP, Attorney Sidgwick practiced family law at Ginsburg & Leshin, LLC in Wellesley, Massachusetts.  Previously, Attorney Sidgwick was a partner at Burden, Sidgwick & Venables, LLC, a boutique family law firm in Newton, Massachusetts.  Before pursuing a career in law, Attorney Sidgwick worked in the financial services industry.

Attorney Sidgwick received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, graduating cum laude in 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, graduating summa cum laude in 2000.

Attorney Sidgwick is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (December 2008).  She is a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation (MCFM).

When not helping her clients, Attorney Sidgwick enjoys movie nights with her family, playing board games with her two sons (who always manage to win), and taking walks through the trails by her home with her husband and their golden retriever, Cooper.
